Fabulous Finals

Well friends,
It's finals week. A week with no classes, lots of studying, late nights, laughing with friends that you won't see in a few weeks, and going insane. I love this week. Not because of the studying or stress but because of the memories it creates.

Monday night my roomate and I were entirely unmotivated to study even though we both had two finals on Tuesday. So we decided to have a rap dance party in our room (even though dance parties are not allowed at Taylor). Following this escapade, we took a walk around campus pulling icicles off of trees and rolling around on the sidewalk with laughter. This had all been preceded by eating pizza and drinking Dr. Pepper while being serenaded with Christmas Songs by our brother wing. Oh boy, what a night. I hope I never forget it. Let's just say we didn't sleep well on Monday night due to hurting stomachs, too much caffeine, and lack of motivation.

Well, it is now Wednesday and I only have one final left! I am almost a sophmore and a half. What a great feeling! I Hope all of your finals are going well and may God bless you as you drive home! Sleep over details will come soon! Love to you all. I must go talk to Jesus.

'Tis the Season

Well, I am sorry it has taken me a while to post. Life is probably going to spin out of control at any moment and I'm sure many of you feel the same way.

This weekend the formal was fun and I got to hang out a lot with friends which was super nice! Now, however, I am reaping the consequences of doing almost no homework. haha. I'll try and post some pics on here of the weekend, but I'm not sure if I really know how. I do not like my hair in this picture.

I'm looking forward to coming home for Christmas. I think it would be fantastic to reconnect with some of you guys; it would be great to have a sleep over at my house or something like that.

Well, this week is filled with two projects, baking cookies, UTURN, open houses, night classes, coffee dates, and meetings. There is no such thing as dead week. I love Christmas, but sometimes I just wish I could slow down.

I guess right now my biggest struggle is finding time daily to spend with the Lord. Not just the little devotions right before bed but really finding a chunk of time when I'm fully awake to pour my heart out at the foot of the cross. There are just so many things vying (sp) for my attention, and they shouldn't be.

Well, I really need to go work on these projects so maybe I can fit in a shower before tonight?!? We shall see. Love to you all. Can't wait to hang out over Christmas! Let's really make this happen!
